Southwest Montana

Hardwood installation. Done with care.

Solid or engineered hardwood for a new home, an addition, or a room you’re ready to change. I’ll help get the floor right from the start.

The Heritage approach

Before the first board goes down.

I check the subfloor and moisture conditions, work out board direction, and look at how the rooms connect. We’ll settle floor heights, transitions, and material choices before installation. Proper acclimation is part of the plan.

You’ll work directly with me, Sterling, from the first walkthrough to the finished floor.

What to expect

Here’s how I approach it.

Site & material review

I check that the subfloor, flooring material, and moisture conditions are ready for installation.

Thoughtful layout

I plan the starting lines and board direction so the floor flows through the rooms, with sensible cuts at the edges.

Finish-ready detail

Vents, thresholds, and adjoining floors need to fit cleanly. We’ll work through those details before they become surprises.
