Southwest Montana

More life from your finish.

A buff and coat can refresh protection without a full sanding. I’ll check whether your floor is a good candidate.

The Heritage approach

Catch the wear before it reaches the wood.

A buff and coat lightly abrades the existing finish so a new coat can bond. It can refresh the sheen and protection, but it won’t remove deep scratches or dents, repair gray wood, or change the stain color. I check the finish and its condition before recommending it.

You’ll work directly with me, Sterling, from the first walkthrough to the finished floor.

What to expect

Here’s how I approach it.

Compatibility check

Old finish, wax, polish, and cleaning products can affect bonding. I’ll check compatibility before recoating.

Surface preparation

I clean the floor and abrade the finish to prepare it for the new coat.

Fresh protection

A compatible coat adds protection. I’ll explain when you can walk on it, return furniture, and put rugs back.
